Katharine offers workshops for men and women integrating Horse Spirit with natural methods of balancing the body/mind/spirit from Buddhist and Native American traditions. She has studied extensively with many teachers and has taught meditation, ceremony and phytotherapies for many years. She has worked in equine assisted therapy with ADD, ADHD, PTSD and addictions in young people with her own horses as the healers.
Participants connect with different horses and learn to sense the subtle dialog that is flowing when human and animal open to each other. Workshops include exercises in body language, gentle signals and awareness of equine nature and individuality.
These workshops are for horsewomen and horsemen and those who have never been near an animal!
Katharine's
background in Classical Dressage brings a deep knowledge and understanding of
horses from a compassionate viewpoint that she combines with a clear and open
way of relating to people.
INTRODUCTION TO HORSE SPIRIT WORKSHOPS have been helping humans and bringing an appreciation of equines to many in New Mexico since 1990. Katharine can work with horses anywhere necessary.

Boundary Halter for horses available
A Humane Halter that
COMMUNICATES your Boundaries by squeezing the entire head when the horse resists
BUT it releases IMMEDIATELY when your horse relaxes.
You do not PULL or JERK on this halter, you just lightly direct the horse and
simply hold STILL if he pulls on you. This halter is NEVER to be used to tie a
horse - it is for leading and In-Hand work only (perfect for longeing). One size
adjusts to fit all horses. It includes detailed instructions for use.
A student just outside of El Paso says "This halter could save someone's
life", after using it on a young gelding that used to pull her around until he
got loose.
